He holds the SHRM‑SCP credential — the highest‑level HR certification, recognizing advanced expertise in complex people decisions and organizational leadership — and an MBA from the University of Colorado, grounding his work in both business strategy and human behavior.
Daniel brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across complex, high‑pressure environments — from managing large operational teams in the airline industry to guiding people, performance, and compliance functions for the City and County of Denver. His background gives him a rare blend of operational insight, investigative rigor, and senior‑level HR judgment that small and mid‑sized businesses rarely have access to in‑house.
Before launching Lion’s Rock, Daniel led operations for a major airline hub, overseeing hundreds of employees in a fast‑moving, customer‑critical environment.
